In this story, we will be revisiting the young Malfoy family, whom we left after the birth of baby Kieran at the end of Baby Days 2: The Turning of the Wheel. Each visit will be a snapshot of a particular moment in their lives. In this first installment, we find them two years later. Kieran has just turned two and big sister Rory will be four in three months.

This segment and all future snapshots in their Family Album are part of the series including A Writer of Fictions, Second Chapter, Baby Days, and Baby Days 2: The Turning of the Wheel.

I'm very excited to report that my story, "The Hunger," is one of the three featured fics for the month of June at Hawthorn & Vine, celebrating the trope of D/Hr as magical creatures. The story was originally written for the first round of the Dramione Couples Remix; my chosen couple were Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, though the story contains elements of another well-known fairy tale as well.

Just saw Daniel Radcliffe's new film, and all I can say is WOW!!! This is one seriously creepy movie!

It's a Hammer film, and it totally lives up to that studio's classic, time-honored reputation for meaty horror films. This one is deliciously atmospheric, dark and brooding, sinister, full of shadows and foreboding and menace. It reminded me, in some ways, of Henry James's "The Turn of the Screw." Daniel is just brilliant, absolutely masterful as Arthur Kipps. This is quite a memorable and substantive first major role for him, post-Harry. He completely owns it from the first frame to the last.

Go see it, but bring a friend. You'll need somebody's hand to hold!
